What We Collect

• Account information: Email address and name when you sign up.
• Pronunciation scores: Accuracy, fluency, and completeness scores from your practice sessions.
• Audio recordings: Only if you explicitly consent. You can opt out at any time in Settings.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the product.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide pronunciation assessment and personalized feedback.
• To track your progress and generate reports.
• To improve our scoring algorithms and content.
• To send you practice reminders (if you opt in).

Audio Processing

Your audio is sent to Microsoft Azure Speech Services for pronunciation assessment. Azure processes the audio in real time and returns a score. If you have not consented to audio storage, the audio is discarded immediately after scoring. Azure does not retain your audio data for their own purposes.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models for other companies.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. All connections are encrypted via TLS. Audio recordings, when stored, are kept in encrypted cloud storage accessible only to your account.

Deleting Your Account

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing us. We will delete all your personal data, scores, and audio recordings within 30 days. Some anonymized aggregate data (e.g., overall usage statistics) may be retained.
